Sports

The playground often becomes
a child's first classroom in resilience.

Sports teach a child to be a good sport. Take victory and defeat with grace.

At Nalanda, sports are woven deeply into the culture of the school, encouraging students to challenge themselves physically, mentally, and emotionally. Through every practice session, every match, every victory, and every setback, children gradually learn discipline, teamwork, leadership, perseverance, and sportsmanship.

Many students have proudly represented Nalanda International School at the District, State, and National levels, carrying with them not only their competitive spirit, but also humility and grace.

Here, sports are not viewed as separate from education. They are education in motion.

Outdoor Games

The rush of footsteps across the field, the excitement of teamwork, the determination to improve, and the joy of movement, together create experiences that children carry with them long after the school years end.

Outdoor sports at Nalanda help students build physical strength, resilience, confidence, endurance, and emotional stamina while reconnecting them with the outdoors in an increasingly screen-filled world.

Here, children learn not only how to compete, but also how to recover, collaborate, encourage, and grow stronger together.

Indoor Games

Not every game demands physicality. Some demand patience, focus, observation, and clarity of thought.

Indoor games at Nalanda encourage children to think critically, solve problems creatively, remain calm under pressure, and develop concentration in environments that balance competition with thoughtful engagement.

These experiences sharpen the mind while nurturing confidence and emotional balance.
